Kenz and Mady were in a play with the Missoula Childrens Theatre that comes to Tooele twice a year! This one was Pinocchio and they both did a really good job! Mykenze was an Urchin and Mady was a ballerina!

Easter egg hunt on Grandma Johnson's farm!

The kids got to go on an Easter egg hunt on Grandma Johnson's farm. There were a ton of eggs and even more places to hide them! The kids had great fun exploring while hunting. As we walked they told us what everything they saw was for!

A little bit of horse riding anyone?

Uncle Erb and cousin Garrett brought their horses over to Grandma Johnsons so the kids could ride them. They rode and rode and rode and rode! They had soo much fun! Thanks Uncle Erb and Garrett!!!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter morning was an adventure! The kids had a lot of fun hunting for Easter goodies around the house! Papa had fun teasing the kids by putting the Easter basket on his head. We ended up with WAY too much Easter candy. The kids just finished the last of it today!

Papa fed Caydon and Mady their ice cream dinner using the airplane technique. They looked like little birds trying to get to the spoon! They couldn't stop laughing the whole time. After this they asked Papa to feed them every meal!!

DONE!!!

YAHOOOO!!! The house is done and they finally moved all of the cement off of my lawn!! The rock on the porch looks amaizing! We started out wanting totally different colors until we went to look at another house that this company did. We changed our minds and I think it looks GREAT!

Our house makeover!

We decided after 3 insurance claims in the last 2 years that we would do something about our siding flying off all of the time. We spoke to the contractor and he enticed us with a great deal that our insurance would pay most of, that we would stucco our house! We had a difficult time deciding the color and no problem deciding to add rock. After being buried under plastic and scaffolding for a month they finally finished the stucco and took it down yesterday. My claustrophobia is now gone. All they have left is to finish the rock on the porch and clean up. I would really like to emphasize the clean up part, they have made quite the mess! You can see the organized part in these pictures... you should see the back yard! YIKES! Should we take bets on whether they will clean it up????? So, here it is ta da! :0)

The battle of the computer chair!

Caydon was staking out his territory in the computer chair so his sisters couldn't play on the computer. He is soo stubborn that he fell asleep there!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAYDON!!!

Caydon wore this Superman costume for the whole week of his birthday. We let him decorate his own cake! He did a pretty good job! My baby is now 4 years old! OUCH! He had a great day. He got monster trucks, transformers, sunglasses and the coolest superman outfit ever!

Aren't they just the cutest things? Caydon is sure that he is some kind of monster. And he IS pretty scarry!

This is Madyson's look when she really wants something... how can we resist those cute little eyes and those pouty lips?

Mykenze and basketball make a pretty good combo! Their team made it 2 games into the finals. They did really well! It was fun to watch them constantly improve throughout the season.

Ok, here's the girl and her science project. She took first place at Northlake. Her experiment was to see if all liquids boiled at the same temperature and in the same amount of time. Ask her about her results...

Mykenze wins 1st place in Science Fair for the 5th and 6th grades.

Mykenze won 1st place in the school science fair for the 5th and 6th grades! She created a display to show her experiment which was to detirmine how fast different liquids would boil and at what temperatures. (I will add that picture when I can get one.) She also was interviewed about her project. She will now take her display to division where she will be with her project for an entire Saturday and go through another interview!

Today I started thinking about all of the things I am thankful for and this one topped the list!

Kora

Meet our new doggie Kora! We rescued her from the Tooele pound. She is trained and very mellow, she has already become part of our family. We thought about naming her Cookie because she looks like an Oreo! But we will leave that as her middle name! She loves playing catch with the tennis ball and is a fast little thing! I love her polka dotted legs and nose!

Ashley won the poetry award for the 4th grade. She had to read her poem and was given her award in an assembly in front of the whole school.
