Grand Marais/ Lake Superior

Mady and Caydon as vikings at the best donut shop ever in Grand Marais... we always get Elephant Ears, they are Jamie's favorites!

This is the view off of our hotel room balcony! Lake Superior just goes on forever in the distance. You could hear the waves hitting the rocks and the shore all of the time!

The kids playing on the shore of Lake Superior. The water was freezing so we didn't have to worry about them getting in! I couldn't pass up these shots of the kids! The first (taken by Emma) is Caydon and his cousin Andrina! Sooo cute!

Sara and Dave got married on the shore of Lake Superior what a beautiful spot! They looked great and we all had a lot of fun! It was super hot and the water was super cold leaving us not knowing what to do! CONGRATS GUYS!

No vacation is complete without family pictures! Here's our best effort! We took tons of these and in each of them Caydon is in a different spot! He's a fast mover!

The kids all together and the girls aren't they great! I can't believe how long they all held still and I think they are all looking forward at the same time!

This is the greatest pizza place! A trip to Grand Marais would not be complete without a trip to the donut shop and Sven & Olie's Pizza! We almost didn't fit in there! There were so many people! But it was worth it the pizza was YUMMY!

Paul Bunyan Land

Paul Bunyan land was a BLAST as always! Caydon and Mady wanted to go on EVERYTHING as much as possible! Mady went up the climbing wall several times, there is a button at the top that you push that rings a bell! She loved that! The wall was 40ft tall and the guy said that he had never seen a 5 year old get much past half way! Go Mady!

Mykenze celebrated her birthday there and we all got free ice cream and they reserved the gazebo for us! (When I find the pictures of that I will post them!)

Softball

Pre-school graduation

Caydon graduated from pre-school! His teacher Mrs. Natalie was spectacular and she said that Caydon was smarter than her 4 and 5 year old students! Go Caydon!!
